Shangri-La is located in the Far North
of the North Island of New Zealand,
surrounded by mountains,
at the headwaters of pristine rivers.

454 acres, as far as the eye can see,

        

offering sparkling pools, ancient trees, and fields of gold...

This is our sixth season
in New Zealand summertime,
where nature is gentle
and fresh air and water
are abundant.

 

We have several
vegan-organic gardens,
with large watermelon patches,
corn and a variety of veggies.

 
             

 We have planted over 100 fruit trees, which are beginning to bear fruit,
as well as many indigenous and ornamental trees.
We are currently seeking a winter caretaker for Shangri-La.
